Parkinson’s Disease
The Fred Binns Parkinson’s Foundation has put together a presentation with three speakers that Rotarians may find both interesting and informative. The Foundation was launched in April 2015 in memory of Fred Binns, a well-known and respected Hobart orthopaedic surgeon for 30 years.
He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in 2006 and died in 2013. His family and friendshave set up the Foundation in his memory to raise funds for research into PD that affects around 2,500 Tasmanians.
